“District of Dance: A D.C. Rhythm & Blues Celebration” is inspired by the rhythm and blues history of Washington, D.C., from the 50s, 60s, and early 70s. Join us for a fun community event as we celebrate with live performances, hand dance lessons, and panel discussions. This is an event for all ages. Hosted by WPFW 89.3 FM''''''''s Scooter Magruder ("Don''''''''t Forget The Blues" and "The Andrea Bray Show"). Featuring Nu Era, Shirleta Settles, D.C.’s Finest, and Mousey Thompson and The James Brown Experience.
