Explore the intersections among hip hop, classical music, and positive social influence (alongside local craft cocktails) for the second annual edition of Music Distilled, featuring Classically Dope, a hip-hop/rap and classical music collaboration between Konshens The MC and local quintet Wavelength Winds. Special Appearance & Demonstration by Celebrity Chef Lauren Von Der Pool: D.C.-native and celebrity chef Lauren Von Der Pool, who has worked as a personal chef for Common, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, and Stevie Wonder, makes a special appearance at Music Distilled. She is the author of Eat Yourself Sexy: The Goddess Edition and worked on First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign.
