CAMP at the LINE

Performance Information

UPDATE (Sun, Oct 20, 1:45pm): The LINE DC has cancelled the rest of today’s events due to worsening weather. Ticket holders will be contacted directly by The LINE.

Experience a day of live music, wellness, and pop-up arts activations curated by Mars Arts D.C. CAMP at the LINE is a rooftop event series from James Beard Award-winning Chef Spike Gjerde and Corey Polyoka of A Rake’s Progress. An escape from the city, CAMP takes inspiration from summer and fall travels with friends and family, downtime well spent over local food, local beers, and the LINE's panoramic rooftop view of Washington, D.C.

The bar will be cold, the snacks will be endless, and with morning, afternoon, and evening hours in full effect, CAMP at the LINE is something to write home about. CAMP is in session from August 25 until October 20, and registration is now open. Based on event capacity, walk-ins are welcome during CAMP events as well.

About Mars Arts D.C.
Mars Arts D.C. is a creative platform for Washington Performing Arts and the D.C. community to celebrate and empower local artists through performances, unique educational programs, and interdisciplinary grassroots collaborations that showcase the diversity and vitality of our city. D.C. has always been an incubator for powerful artistic voices with worldwide resonance, from Duke Ellington and Todd Duncan to Shirley Horn and Chuck Brown. Reflective of our founder Patrick Hayes’ motto, “Everybody in, nobody out,” Mars Arts D.C. amplifies the role of local artists throughout Washington Performing Arts’ productions, educational opportunities, and special events. Mars Arts D.C. also curates educational workshops, master classes, and student performances that connect local students with distinguished performers, in conjunction with our signature education programs, such as the Capital Arts Partnership, Embassy Adoption Program, and Gospel Choirs. Mars Arts D.C. is anchored by residencies for leading artists and ensembles, curated performances across all eight wards, and artistic happenings that reflect what it means to call D.C. home.

Presented by Mars Arts D.C., a partnership of Mars, Incorporated and Washington Performing Arts, with generous support from Jacqueline Badger Mars.
