This Saturday Only | Sixth & I

Experience the genre-crossing "beyond classical" trio of pianist Chad Lawson, violinist Judy Kang, and cellist Seth Parker Woods at Sixth & I, on March 18 at 8:00 p.m. The three have a classical foundation, crossover covers, and past collaborations with artists including Sting, Lady Gaga, Peter Gabriel. Their program conjures a relaxed, meditative mood drawing on both the sonorities of classical music and the freedom of jazz improvisation. Join us to hear featured selections from Lawson’s albums Chopin Variations, You Finally Knew, The Piano, and more.

Enhance your Saturday experience with a pre-show mindfulness and breath workshop led by pianist and Calm it Down podcast host Chad Lawson. The workshop includes original music, guided meditation, and focused breathing to ease the mind and relax the nerves. Free with event registration, 6 p.m.
