Iza Flo’s “Dance Anthem” featuring Crazy Legz
As seen on the 2021 Virtual Wammie Awards, Mars Arts D.C. presents D.C. supergroup Iza Flo performing their original song, “Dance Anthem.” Led by drummer Isabelle De Leon and fronted by Dior Ashley Brown, Iza Flo’s blend of rock, hip-hop, funk, and dance influences result in a high-energy sound centering on rhythmic rap, soaring melodies, grooving beats, and intricate guitar solos. The band is joined by dancers Crazy Legz and Kevin “Noodlez” Davis—leading figures in the Go-Go rooted “Beat Ya Feet” dance style—who perform Crazy Legz’s original choreography and showcase their individual freestyle skills.
Filmed at D.C.’s historic Union Station, this music video celebrates amazing local artists and recognizes the arts as a unifying force. A location symbolic of people and communities coming together, Union Station is filled with the power of music and dance.
This video was co-directed by award-winning Chilean-born filmmaker Francisco Campos-Lopez of Magen Entertainment and Washington Performing Arts Chief Operating Officer & Director of Finance C. Lorenzo Evans III, with audio engineering by Dave Mallen of Innovation Station Music.
