Employment

We employ full-time and part-time staff in positions that require various levels of training. Our departments include administration, education, fundraising, marketing and communications, special events, and more. Employment decisions are made based on the business needs of the organization and qualifications of the applicants and employees.

Paid Internships

Washington Performing Arts offers paid internships throughout the year for undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates. Internship positions average of 15 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks during the fall and spring internship semesters. Summer semester interns must complete an average of 15 hours per week for at least 9 weeks. A stipend of $500 is provided upon completion of the internship. Applicants should be highly motivated, creative, and hard-working individuals with an interest in arts management. Check back this spring for summer internship application information.

Auditions

Choir auditions are held throughout the year. Auditions help us determine current musical skills and vocal divisi recommendations. Come be a part of this 30+ year tradition of music making!
