Join us in Celebrating 60 years of Excellence, Community, and Partnership Across the Washington D.C. Region.
Why Your Support Matters
For more than 60 years, Washington Performing Arts has shaped the cultural life of our nation’s capital. As one of the first independent presenting organizations in the United States, we have paved the way for artistic innovation and cultural engagement. Our work has been recognized with the Presidential Medal of Arts, multiple Mayor’s Arts Awards, and national acclaim for our impact in performance, arts education, and community partnerships.
Today, our mission remains as vital as ever.
With more than 80% of our operating revenue coming from philanthropic and contributed support, corporate partnerships are essential to sustaining our mission.
