Free “Happy Hour” Music Series! DowntownDC Live! is back at Franklin Park this summer—and we’re turning up the volume.

Your favorite lunch break jam transforms into an after work summer evening escape, with live music and laid-back happy hour vibes. Join us every Thursday from June 5 – 26, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Come down to Downtown D.C.’s largest green space and let melodies of pop, soul, and jazz talents wash away your “End-Of-Day” tiredness. What’s even better – giveaways, food trucks, tasty treats, and refreshing drinks are also available. DowntownDC Live! is your ticket to amazing local live music!

On June 19 starting at 4:30 p.m., meet us at Franklin Park and get loud and proud with JChris, the Latin pop virtuoso whose global sound blends Latin, Afro, and Brazilian beats into irresistible pop anthems. Beyond the rhythm, his music boldly celebrates gender fluidity and queer culture. Desmond Thompson will open the set with summer heat in Downtown D.C.
