Free “Happy Hour” Music Series! DowntownDC Live! is back at Franklin Park this summer—and we’re turning up the volume.

Your favorite lunch break jam transforms into an after work summer evening escape, with live music and laid-back happy hour vibes. Join us every Thursday from June 5 – 26, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Come down to Downtown D.C.’s largest green space and let melodies of pop, soul, and jazz talents wash away your “End-Of-Day” tiredness. What’s even better – giveaways, food trucks, tasty treats, and refreshing drinks are also available. DowntownDC Live! is your ticket to amazing local live music!

On June 26 starting at 4:30 p.m., head to Franklin Park for a late afternoon with Be Steadwell — a DC-based queer pop artist, filmmaker, and storyteller. Blending soul, a cappella, and folk into her signature “queer pop” sound, Be’s music centers Black queer love and radiates authenticity, joy, and radical self-expression.

Come dance, celebrate, and feel the rhythm!
