Choir auditions are held throughout the year. Auditions help us determine current musical skills and vocal divisi recommendations. Come be a part of this 30+ year tradition of music making!
The Men and Women of the Gospel Choir performs traditional gospel standards and contemporary works, dedicated to presenting this American art form at its highest artistic level in venues across the nation’s capital. Men and Women of the Gospel will review applications and videos for considerations for projects on a rolling bases.
Calling all singing youth! Want to be part of a vibrant, multi-faceted community of singers, performing in a variety of places?
Washington Performing Arts Children of Gospel Choir (COTG) ensemble is open to singers ages 9-19. Singers receive dynamic vocal training and performance experience with renowned faculty and guest artists.
How to Audition:
Please follow the link below to complete our online application and upload an audition video (instructions are included on the form). All candidates who are approved to move to the second step will be invited, by email, to an in-person callback audition.
Beginning August 31, online auditions are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the 2026-2027 season.
