Enriching Experiences
Enriching Experiences for Seniors (EES) brings performances and workshops in the areas of music, dance, theater, storytelling, and visual arts to senior communities in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Choose from our diverse roster of experienced Washington Performing Arts Teaching Artists/Ensembles to provide an enriching arts experience for your community!
Washington Performing Arts offers a limited number of free Enriching Experiences for Seniors (EES) programs to senior communities and service organizations on a first come, first served basis in Washington, D.C.; Montgomery or Prince George’s County in Maryland; or Arlington City, Alexandria City, Falls Church City or Fairfax County in Virginia. Organizations that have funding available are eligible to request EES programming on a fee-for-service basis.
What to expect
A Washington Performing Arts Teaching Artist/Ensemble will conduct a 45-60 minute live performance or workshop that takes place on site in your community’s preferred event space.
How to schedule an EES program
COVID-19 Safety
All Washington Performing Arts Teaching Artists are fully vaccinated and will make best efforts to accommodate any COVID-19-related procedures required by your community. There will be an opportunity for you to share these requirements in the EES request form.
