Enriching Experiences

Enriching Experiences brings concerts and dance performances to senior communities in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

What to expect
Performances last between 45 and 60 minutes. Artists provide an interactive, stand-alone performance which should not be used as background music for another event.

Who are the artists?
You can see which artists are available by looking through our artist roster. You will be able to request your top three artists when you sign up. Washington Performing Arts staff will do their best to pair you with one of your top three artists, based on artist availability.

When are performances?
Performance dates and times can happen anytime between September 2019 and August 2020 at times that are mutually agreeable for you and the artist. We require an audience of at least 15 people, so please select a performance day and time where many members of your community will be available to attend!

How to schedule a performance:

  1. Fill out the performance request form. (For organizations that do not have the capacity to pay for a performance, a limited number of free performances are available on a first-come first-served basis.)
  2. After Washington Performing Arts receives your request for a performance, staff will confirm if we can fulfill your request within two weeks of receiving it.
  3. If we are able to provide an artist, WPA will work with you to confirm a date and time.
  4. WPA staff will connect you to your assigned artist so that you may communicate directly to determine further details about the performance. We will also send an agreement form for you to sign.
