Children of the Gospel Alumni Reunion Weekend

May 30 - June 1

Calling all Children of the Gospel Choir Alumni! As we enter into the 30th season for the choir, we invite you to register to join us for a weekend of activities culminating in your participation in our concert on June 1, 2024.

The weekend includes a welcome rehearsal, mini-workshop, concert, and fellowship. You won’t want to miss what promises to be a historic moment of fellowship, music-making, and reflection!

Weekend Events

ACT 1

Welcome Rehearsal

Kick off the weekend with a good ole rehearsal for alumni! Sing and rehearse music from the past eras with former directors Dr. Joyce Garrett, Dr. Thomas Tyler, Evelyn Simpson Curenton, Michele Fowlin, and more!

ACT 2

Mini Workshop

Remember the summer workshops? Let’s journey back and participate in full day of COTG activities including clinics, vocal sessions, “CHOIRography,” and more, all led by many of the former directors of COTG and alumni members that we all love and miss. Wear comfortable clothing because you know our beloved Diedre Neal is going to work us like we’re all back in high school again!
