Tregaron Unplugged returns in 2023, promising an enchanting afternoon of acoustic bliss amidst the serene beauty of Tregaron Conservancy. This highly anticipated event brings together talented local musicians and nature enthusiasts for an intimate, unplugged experience of chamber music, contemporary folk, opera, and jazz. Against lush greenery and tranquil landscapes, attendees will be treated to performances that transcend genres, offering a harmonious blend of melodies and nature’s symphony. With its unique fusion of music and natural serenity, Tregaron Unplugged invites guests to stroll through the park and immerse themselves in an unforgettable experience of sensory delights, fostering a deep connection between art and the wonders of the great outdoors.
Performers include singer-songwriter Gëtte, jazz ensemble Brad Linde OUTSIDE, Mars Arts D.C. Strings, sitarist Snehesh Nag, and abstract painter Khalid Thompson.
Tregaron performances are free with required registration.
Post-Concert Young Patron Event: Patrons age 40 and younger are invited to mix and mingle with other young arts fans and Washington Performing Arts Junior Board members at nearby Nanny O’Brien’s Irish Pub (3319 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
