The Music Center at Strathmore

The Music Center at Strathmore is a concert hall and education center that opened in February 2005. Washington Performing Arts is a resident artistic partner at the venue, offering a variety of musical events. Strathmore’s space is famous for its excellent, “pitch-perfect” acoustics, enabled by technology that allows the acoustics in the hall to be adjusted to fit the needs of various performances. Its maple floors, white birch walls, and bronze metal grillage combine form and function, contributing to the hall’s warm, inviting ambiance.
